Our AI Policy
Last updated: August 2026
Real people. Real cameras. Real performances.
The people you see and the voices you hear are real. They are filmed with real cameras, in real studios and real locations. We do not AI-generate our films, actors, or voices.
A person is responsible for every fact we report
Our team decides what we cover and is accountable for what we publish. AI does not choose our stories and is never treated as a source. A person at Streamlly reviews every script and verifies every factual statement against original records or authoritative sources before it airs.
Digital tools help us tell stories we otherwise couldn’t
We may use AI, CGI, VFX, and other digital technologies to create or recreate environments, events, objects, stunts, and effects. These tools enhance our original footage, helping us tell stories more accurately, safely, and quickly.
AI is one of many tools, and we use it responsibly. We use AI-assisted tools in post-production for things like removing background noise, keying and compositing, enhancing lighting and images, generating captions, and creating visual effects.
But we always start with original, filmed content. We don’t use AI to generate entire films from scratch or to create fake actors, performances, voices, or dialogue.
Nobody’s face or voice is used without permission
We do not digitally recreate or use a person’s likeness or voice without their permission. This applies to our staff, the people we interview, and anyone who appears in our work.
This applies to everyone we work with
Our contractors, freelancers, and production vendors are required to follow this policy too. These standards are incorporated into our agreements with them.
You can check our work
We provide C2PA Content Credentials to record provenance information about how our content was created and edited. When supported and preserved by the platform, this information travels with the content so its production history can be independently inspected.
Our standard
Technology should help us tell the truth more clearly — never create a false reality and present it as real.
