This afternoon, we are hearing reports that conservative activist Charlie Kirk was shot and killed.

He was shot while speaking at an event on a school campus.

No, no.

Th- th- this can't be happening.

Everywhere I look and listen, his words, his death.

It is being called a political assassination.

Kirk was an outspoken conservative activist that played a major role in bringing youth into politics.

The internet is ruthless on this.

He lost his life simply speaking about his beliefs.

It was a single shot to the neck believed to have come from a rooftop 200 feet away.

He leaves behind a wife and 2 children.

May he rest in peace.
