Now, I want you to know she survived her heart attack.

medicine meant to save her took her life.

They called it the "reboot trial."

Over 8,500 survivors studied.

For some, the beta blocker pills gave hope.

For others

nothing.

And too many women's lives, like Ramona's, were cut short.

My mama's heart was still strong.

That was the problem.

She should still be here.

The medicine trusted to save lives doesn't protect everyone.

And for some women with strong hearts, it made things worse.
