In Super Bowl LX, a game described by some as “boring,” the Seattle Seahawks got sweet revenge for their Super Bowl loss to New England 11 years earlier, dismantling the Patriots 29-13 in front of a packed Levi Stadium crowd of 70,823 in Santa Clara, CA.

In a game that saw the Seahawks dominate the Patriots the entire night, holding the AFC champions scoreless through three quarters, New Englandquarterback Drake Maye couldn’t get anything going offensively.

Seattle’s swarming defense harassed Maye all night, sacking him six times. It led to three turnovers, including an interception returned for a touchdown.

Offensively for Seattle, Kenneth Walker III rose to the occasion, rushing for 135 yards and 26 receiving yards, earning him Super Bowl MVP.

Meanwhile, Seahawks kicker Jason Myers hit a Super Bowl record five field goals to seal up a mostly defensive night for both teams.

Seahawk quarterback Sam Darnold became the first quarterback to win a Super Bowl after playing with five or more teams.

The team also went the entire postseason without a single turnover.

“I feel like we didn’t play as good as we could have," Darnold said after the game. "I certainly didn’t play as good as I could have … but our defense had our back, our special teams had our back, and we got it done.”
